Had a pretty good thunderstorm here a few days ago. Lately I try to take some video of the storms with my iPhone when there is visible lightning, usually as the storm is coming in, or moving away. Then I can take a still grab from the video. It's not the best quality, but it's okay. The iPhone does 1280x720 30fps video. Here is a cool strike I captured:

My brother nearly got hit by lightning once. It struck less than a foot behind him as he came into the house.

Pretty cool Wade, I love thunderstorms myself. But the only thing is I cannot access the computer because I am afraid lightning will fry the computer, or charger.
