Just went to see it, and boy was I fascinated! Probably the best movie I've seen this year, and Heath Ledger's perofmance was dazzling. He deserves an Oscar beyond the grave.
Heath Ledger did do an amazing job. So did Christain Bale. The movie itself, however, was less amazing. To quote Sir Schmoopy "It was kinda long. I mean it was good and all, but they give you like a 2 liter thing of coke and I really had to pee like an hour and a half into the movie." It was long. The actors all did well, but it was often slow.
And Twoface sucks. I mean, no one in Batman has powers, but he doesn't even have knock out gas or gadgets or anything. All he has is a coin.

Oh man. The Dark Knight. It's one of the best films I've seen in a long time. Heath Ledger was amazing as The Joker. You're right, the more the film went on, the more you wanted to see his crazy antics. Excellent film, I think he should win the Oscar dead or alive. Chris Nolan is one hell of a director. I loved the film so much so I had to mention it in my news aswell.
I really did not like the movie that much. It was GOOD, but plenty of movies are GOOD. Not the best that I've ever seen. Everyone will disagree with me though, so who cares if I go into explaining my reasoning.

I loved the Joker! BTW, could I apply to be a icon moderator? I have a shit load of time and a good attention span so, I could check alot of the icons. It sounds like a sort of fun job.
I saw it once in theaters then I dished out the extra 4 bucks to see it in Imax it was totally worth it. Seeing it again on a bigger screen with a better sound system really brings the movie up another level, not to mention I caught a lot of littles things I didn't see the first time.
I saw it on IMAX the other night, and into this morning, and I'm glad I did. It added a lot to it. Those scenes looking down on the city were sweet.

The Dark Knight is an awesome film when it comes to acting and filmmaking, but I wasn't so keen on the storyline itself, there wasn't much to it...And the CGI on Harvey Dent was really cool too...
One posthumous (do you spell it posthumos in America?) nomination coming up, if not Oscar....Ledger was amazing!

1. They are ignorant and don't really know me and just go on what they may have heard from other NG users.

Im definently going to watch that new Batman movie !!! The joker seems to be very intresting! But its a shame that he diead from an overdose :(
some web site is telleing that the THE DARK KNITH movie is the best of all time.but i say that STAR WARS EPISODE 3 :THE REVENGE OF THE SITH was better.
I've seen it...twice. Thats like, 6 hours of batman and I still love it! Heath Ledger is so freakin awesome!
