Yes, the Dark Knight was brillaint. I saw it two times on the Saturday of the weekend it came out, once with family, and once with friends and enjoyed it immensely both times. It's funny the way you described how you felt about Heath Ledger's death before and after the film. That's actually the exact same way I felt about him. I knew he was a good actor after seeing some of the other films he'd been in, but he never really had a full chance to flex his acting muscle until Dark Knight.... And flex he did. It was an amazing performance, and I wouldn't be disappionted in the least if he won best supporting actor.

But was it just me, or did it seem like the movie was about to end three seperate times?

Wait, you liked the Titanic?

is this like, the best movie to come out in years or something?

Oh, a few people may think so. :)

Well then I must see it next week or so.

Heath probably does a nicer job of being that"insane murderer" than Jack Nicholson did in that old Tim Burton batman film.

Still, looks very nice.

He did put on a great performance..
I never thought Heath Ledger could pull it off..but I was wrong
yet the actor that plays Batman...not so much..
He is OK..I think they should of put more money in to hire a better actor..
But now its to late and we are stuck with him...
and 2 face needed a bigger part of the movie..
You know actually be in the movie longer killing people and shit..
Just my opinions though..

from what i heard it was a tropical storm. and also when we finally got the radio to work it said that my hometown was having a tornado warning.

There are those who think that life
Has nothing left to chance
With a host of holy horrors
To direct our aimless dance

A planet of playthings
We dance on the strings
Of powers we cannot perceive
The stars arent aligned ---
Or the gods are malign
Blame is better to give than receive

You can choose a ready guide
In some celestial voice
If you choose not to decide
You still have made a choice

You can choose from phantom fears
And kindness that can kill
I will choose a path thats clear
I will choose free will

There are those who think that theyve been dealt a losing hand
The cards were stacked against them ---
They werent born in lotus-land

All preordained
A prisoner in chains
A victim of venomous fate
Kicked in the face
You cant pray for a place
In heavens unearthly estate

Each of us
A cell of awareness
Imperfect and incomplete
Genetic blends
With uncertain ends
On a fortune hunt
Thats far too fleet...

"Fuck Titanic! The Titanic needs to be sunk a second time, but not by another ice berg in the night, but by The Joker in The Dark Knight."

BWWAHAHAHA

You should be a movie critic.

I saw the movie and feel exactly the same as you do. I plan on seeing it again while it's in theaters.

Too bad old Heath is dead, how can anybody top that performance?

The reason why I enjoyed the film so much is because Heath's brand of Joker did the Joker more justice than even the Joker deserved. I mean, Jack Nickolson is known for his psychotic acting, he's got good delivery and the right look about him for the part. But Ledger blew him out of the water with his depiction. The wound-licking constantly during the delivery of his lines is absolutely perfect.

I saw it once in theatres and once in IMAX. IMAX was pretty cool, because even though most of the film was shot in the normal aspect ratio, the IMAX sequences are pretty spectacular views, it definitely adds to the experience.

Wade For President!

I watched the Dark Knight and loved every minute of it. I was a big fan of the original Batman movie... er well not the original one that one is warmed over horse shit with lazer sharks. The Tim Burton one with Jack Nickolson as the Joker.

I went back and tryed watching that movie again and it is crap now. It's amazing how fast it goes from really awesome movie to so far over the top that it's just silly.

Ledger made the joker out to be just one crazy son of a bitch which is like the comic. Tim Burton had the Joker fall into a vat of uncoagulated silly string and come out a psycopath...

I like the way there is no explication of the character it's just hey here is a dude... he is messed in the head something fierce and he is in your face. Really makes you sit up and pay attention to him because you don't know where the heck he came from.

I also like the stories abou the scars and how that just shows how twisted the character is that he goes all out to mess with people.

When I first heard Ledger was playing the Joker is was left scratching my head... it didn't seem like the right fit... After seeing the Dark Knight I seriously ache that I will never be able to see him play the Joker again.

Heath Ledger is and will always be the Joker in my opinion. Well that and a gay cowboy... yeah Joker first gay cowboy second.

No one likes you Wade.

That's okay, I have my flashlights to keep me company.

I just bought tickets to see The Dark Knight on IMAX for Thursday night. :)

For yourself or bringing along someone else this time?

Going with a friend.

I recall a reviewer saying that Heath Ledger makes Jack Nicholson look like a circus clown, and couldn't agree any more. Generally I find that superhero movies are enjoyable, but not enjoyable enough to be classed as "great" films alongside movies like Magnolia or The Departed. Ledger managed to overshadow everyone else in the movie so much that it's going to be the first superhero movie I add to my DVD collection when it comes out.

Yeah, I saw it a little while back, and it was absolutely stunning. Easily the best movie of the summer. And Heath Ledger did an amazing job.

Also, you're a very good photographer.

I've got a very important question that holds the key to the future of Newgrounds...

...if you and the Joker slapped cocks with each other in a cock battle. Who would scream in pain first?

Nice pictures, and that's yet another movie I have to see. . .not in Sweden yet. . .either

Saw the dark knight and i would have to say it is the best batman movie to date, and that has nothing to do with heath ledger either, i just think the movie kicked ass. although heath was a better more realistic villain than jack nicholson. the new batman franchise i think is a more true to life visualization as to what these heroes and villains would be doing in our society. the older batman movies i think just played off of the series too much, they were all so light hearted and comical, which i didnt care for too much. hopefully the next installment is just as good or better, than this one.

Cool, I live near there. Really nice place, btw.

Did you have any of our famous 'blue crab?'

Yeah, I had some blue crab, and caught some too, but I threw them back. I ate at Don's a lot.
