I was able to snag a Wii today at my local Game Stop. I had been trying to avoid purchasing one because I hardly have time to play my 360. However, my wife played a Wii at her friend's house and after that she just had to have one. So the Wii will be her b-day present, anniversary present, etc. The kids will probably have fun with it too. I'm sure I'll give it a try, but it's no GoW. :)

I'm sure you'll find a game for it that you'll like. There's always Twilight Princess, and there's SSMB Brawl to look forward to. Are Wiis hard to find in your area? They seem to be selling like hotcakes around here.

They have been hard to find around here. Usually they sell out in 5-30 minutes if anyone gets them. I was lucky. I just walked into a Game Stop to ask, expecting the usual "No." but the guy actuall had one.
