Have you lost any electronic Devices in your House to the storm? I had a similar incident during some in July. Lost alot of my great stuffz. Plus, Stormchasers stated that This was an El Nino Season too.

I think the photographer spent a fair few years trying to take this kind of photo. I think it pays off well.

Wow, that was pretty awesome! I reminds me of the time a while ago (maybe a week ago) that there was this pretty heavy thunderstorm In my town. I was lying on my bed when I just so happened to be looking out the window, then this pretty close strike hit the ground outside my house.
After about 2 hours after the storm was over, I went to look outside at the strike's spot, then I saw it. A big gaping gash in the dirt ground. It was pretty freaky.
