I'm lucky. I live in South Dakota so I really don't think I have to worry about hurricanes. In fact, I don't have to worry about anything (really.) Hurricanes don't reach this far, and if they ever did they would just be weak storms. The Black Hills break up Tornadoes or something so they die before they reach me.

So I'm pretty safe here in SD.

WHY THE HELL IS EVERYONE SO DAMN SURPRISED WHEN THEY SEE AHURRICANE FORMING!? I mean it's called HURICANE SEASON FOR A REASON! >_< GAH! It just sickens me how many ignorant, moronic, idiotic, shitheads are out there. Why can't they prepare for this kinda stuff like at least 1-2 months prior?

Gustav completely missed me... why they decided to make a mandatory evacuation in Hardin County is beyond me. We didn't even lose power, and we get it 20 miles south, in Beaumont!
