Hehe, your comment just struck me as very odd considering the state of the world we live in, at least where I live. Digital cameras are cheap, high quality, small, and many people have them and are likely to carry one if they go out and about with their kids, etc. It's almost like asking "Why did you have a cell phone on you? Why were you wearing shoes?" :P
To be honest i am a dont spend my money i like to save it because well i am sad also I am from the UK we do have digital cameras.

I use to have a snapping turtle too. I kept it for the longest time until it got too big to keep inside. Their cute while they are small.
