I am so freaking jealous! It's raining here.

Feb. 20, 2008 | 10:41 PM Vndgl says:

yea, I heard the bright dot near the bottom is supposed to be Saturn or Jupiter or something. I went inside after like, 2 seconds because it was freezing cold.

Feb. 20, 2008 | 10:42 PM lilhunter03 says:

It's snowing where I live.

Feb. 20, 2008 | 10:43 PM stafffighter says:

My pictures didn't come out, with or without flash. I suspect this is because I suck at taking pictures. Good job

Feb. 20, 2008 | 10:43 PM WadeFulp responds:

Need to use a manual exposure if your camera has manual exposure options. I think that shot was ISO 400, f5.2, at 10 seconds.

I also used a tripod, and self timer.

Feb. 21, 2008 | 12:26 AM WritersBlock says:

I find solar eclipses more exciting, but still, yay for natural phenomena! I didn't know about it, but then again, I woudn't see it from Australia =P

Nice photo, kind of reminds of when mars was visible in the sky.

Feb. 21, 2008 | 9:41 AM supertoria12 says:

I saw it at 10:00, It was AMAZING! It was the first eclipse I've ever seen. I wanted to go outside and look at it with my Vivitar binoculars (no, I don't have a telescope.) but 10:00 is a little late for me to go outside. Kudos!

Feb. 21, 2008 | 10:12 AM AapoJoki says:

It was cloudy all night :(

Seems like it was visible from a large part of the world.

Feb. 21, 2008 | 10:39 AM SaltshakerClock says:

Looks pretty cool

Feb. 21, 2008 | 12:36 PM LtMcMuffin says:

The weather kind of sucked last night. Is the lunar eclipse going on? After looking at the sun for the past twenty minutes it is all I can see. Even though I stopped looking an hour ago. I think I've been had.

Feb. 21, 2008 | 1:01 PM Tystarr says:

It looks like something JohnnyUtah drew up

Feb. 21, 2008 | 1:59 PM yoshi77777 says:

It was pretty cool. Suppose to be the last one until 2010, is that what they said?

Feb. 21, 2008 | 2:22 PM WadeFulp responds:

Maybe, at least total eclipse. There is another one coming up that is a partial eclipse. There was a lunar eclipse not that long ago. I've seen pretty many solar and lunar eclipses over the years. A total solar eclipse is more fun. :)

Feb. 21, 2008 | 3:16 PM Ronald-McDonald-LoL says:

It was too cloudy here.

Feb. 21, 2008 | 3:26 PM Rig says:

I saw it.

Feb. 21, 2008 | 9:46 PM Davidzx says:

Good thing there were no clouds where I lived, or where you do. anyways it looked like the moon turned into jupiter for a sec. but judging by the picture, it looks liek the real color of the moon without the sun, anyways good thing you got the pics.

Feb. 21, 2008 | 10:05 PM NucularSoldier says:

Oh I saw that, it didn't seem that interesting though.

Feb. 24, 2008 | 4:02 AM Underlingkiller says:

Kool dood the couple of times i looked outside it was only that dark orangeish side. Was this taken, do you think, after the sun started moving out from the moon again?

Feb. 25, 2008 | 9:45 AM InsaneBrutality says:

I tried to , woke up really early in the morning without waking up my parents too.

The only thing that got screwed up is that I cant see the moon from my balcony :(

Feb. 25, 2008 | 12:46 PM Apuleyo says:
