XBL alot of problems since the holidays. I think I saw a post where they said they had the most new sign ups ever and just couldn't handle it at the time. Whatever the case, I know they'll get that fixed asap considering COD4 is the hottest game for XBL.

You should be glad you're playing on a 360. The PS3 is having much more problems: Errors, lag, connectivity issues, delayed patches, the list goes on. Infinity Ward is making a mess of the online functionality of this game.

For a while, XBL was under extreme pressure causing the majority of users to experience issues with either logging in, recovering/updating accounts, and even just playing games properly. According to the official Xbox website, all the issues have been fixed and the current state is "up and running", although problems will most likely continue for a while.

well i think its gonna be awhile b4 its up a week ago they let halo3s network go to shit im talking the only way to play was to get all your friends cant even do matchmaking we even got frozen on the fuking scorbords b4 the game we had to turn our xbox on an doff b4 each game and if they let theyre signature games network be tht crappy for 2 days its gonna be a while for COD4 btwe i borrowed frm block busta wen it first came out beet it in a week never got to play online tho :3

I never really was an Xbox Live person. Mostly because I never really could buy my own, but also, I would waste a lot of time playing video games anyway. I devote a lot of time to learning about coding and web design instead, with the occasional interlude to a PC game.

I have Halo 2 for the PC; it's not that bad except for the fact that it has less people on Live (don't pay for it anyway despite the one month free subscription) but single-player is fun, and the graphics are stunning nonetheless.

One question though: what's the difference between Gold and Silver accounts on Xbox? On Windows you access it for free (mostly) so there's no need at all.

And, the funny thing is I do have Wade's autograph. Sort of. It was from the package of NG stickers I ordered, which is pretty cool even if unintentional.

Sorry, can't help much. all i know is that my xbl and cod 4 usually work fine, and although there is a higher rate of me getting disconnected, i still get in a few good games. My freinds have been having similar probs, and I don't have a clue about what is causing it (could it be based on when you signed up, such as the server your user data is stored on?). I doubt you can fix it yourself. Seems like a bug with XBL overall.

Check the Xbox live website, people say it's with them, not CoD4. I have yellow connection and get in games easily though

I hope they arrange the problem on COD4, i finished all the game in 3 days and went to play online and i couldnt. No one can, i checked with my school friends and they said the same thing that they cant play online. So i think only a few people can play COD4 online.I hope they arrange this soon cause i want to play online :-)!

I know what you mean the server for COD4 has had some issues lately like today I just played like 3 games and it wouldnt connetc anymore after that.

haha that sucks.... i never have any of these problems on the Pc. And the Pc vertion IS NOT WORSE......all the people complaining about horrible graphics compaired to xbox? wth... get a nice pc and put all options on max ....thats whut i do..........i feel alone on this matter...but never shall i pay for xbox live....let alone buy an xbox(that includes 360)....why waste extra money??? i already got a nice pc....and all the xbox games come out for windows and stuff......(dam that windows)..... ok ill shut up now....
