I updated my iPhone 3G to OS 3.0 yesterday. I enjoy some of the new features. However, I am annoyed that the "back up" still takes FOREVER to run when I sync my iPhone. I decided to sync it today after it went through a full back up and OS upgrade just yesterday. It's taking forever!

Any other iPhone users out there that have experience slow back ups? Or tried syncing since installing 3.0?

Anyone planning on getting the 3Gs? I'd love to get the 3Gs with the better camera, autofocus, video, etc, but it isn't in my budget. It seems like I'd have to pay a $200 fee to upgrade before my 12 or 18 months is up. I'll probably head into an AT&T store once the madness calms down to see when I'm qualified to upgrade with no extra fee.

It's going to be tough watching so many people enjoying their 3Gs, sending videos, taking better quality pics, etc, while I'm stuck with the 3G phone. :P

If I have to wait 18 months to get the best upgrade price ($199 for the 16GB 3Gs) I may just wait for next year's iPhone.

I'm getting the 32GB 3Gs today hopefully, as an early birthday present. I wanted to get an iPhone for a while now but the 16GB one was just too small for my music collection. Now I'll be able to have all my music and a phone in one slim device. My old ipod and my old phone had a combined weight of about 255g, whereas the iPhone is about 135g. Gonna be so good not being weighed down by multiple devices! =)

Oldsage, peer to peer only works in Wi-fi zones. It uses the Bluetooth port on the iPhonefor it.

The problem is that I used 'ziphone' to unlock my phone before the App store hit so I could get unauthorized apps, and I want to do it again because I like having the guitar tuner, level, and a host of other things that I don't want to have to pay for in the app store; but I don't know that there's a jailbreak for 3.0 yet.

Odds are, I'm just going to continue using mine as is, I've had it for 1.2 years now, so it's looking like I'll just wait for next year's iPhone as well and buy a new one.

Syncing is alright for me usually. My big issue is the battery life. Drains way too quickly.

Not sure what's up. I upgraded to 3.0 for my Iphone 3G just after it was released. Backup is just as quick as before and I got 15Gig of stuff on it.

I can't tell for sure but sometimes I suspect 3.0 has made load times a bit longer when switching between apps on the phone.

It can play movies, it can connect to the Internet over Wifi, Edge, 3G, and 3Gs (If you get the iPhone 3Gs), it's only on AT&T right now. It can go to Newgrounds, but it can't run Flash, as of now. It can take pictures, you can email them, soon you should be able to text them. It can play music (does everything an iPod does).

The best part is it has tons of awesome apps that do all kinds of stuff.

I don't hate you. You may have stopped me from spamming this site before, but i seriously still don't hate you. Now today i come here with some answers for you, and a request.

You asked me in one of the PMs about my zeg account, why i was spamming NewGrounds. I gave you some stupid immature answer just saying something like i don't know then insulting myself. About half a year later ive realized that you mightve thought i was doing it because i hate this site. That could be farther from the truth. This site is great and im here everyday i come home from school.

The true reason i spam is for for the laughter. Angry reviewers, submitting the spam for laughter between me and my friends, trolling peoples user pages also only for the laughter, not because i hate this site. While im spamming im sure to never mess with the mods/admins because thats a huge mistake.

That is my true honest answer to the old question of why i spam NewGrounds. Im not trying to just ruin this site or anything. Without this site i would be very bored. Don't ever think i hate you OR this site.

Now for my request. My friend ToxicDevil93 http://toxicdevil93.newgrounds.com/ has been permanently review banned for almost 1 whole year now. His reviews were never bad enough to deserve a permanent ban, he just used to be extremely immature and didn't know how to make good reviews back then.

He has highly matured by now and if he got his reviewing privilege back he would use it for writing well constructed reviews that don't break any of the rules and such. I feel its my fault he got permanently review banned because it happened after i reported lots of his abusive reveiws to rages thread. I did it because we still used to get into tiny fights at this time.

Personally i think the mod did a bit of an over reaction with the permanent ban, and i really don't think he deserved THAT MUCH.

I beg you wade, Please at least CONSIDER allowing him to write reviews once again. Hes more mature than hes ever been and would make great reviews for NewGrounds. Please wade.

This message is extremely important. Please respond to it if your able to take time out of your busy NewGrounds managing day and read this. If you don't want to unban toxicdevil 93 from reviewing please tell me why. Just let me know you read this.

The thing that pisses me off most is how they changed the pic preview in the app store. They fucked it up, so when I am trying to scroll down, its hard to not get caught in the stupid picture scroller and have to keep scrolling back up. Ugh.. its annoying as hell.

I also wish they would let us turn the accelerometre off so I can use the iPhone in bed.
