I don't buy many video games these days, but Gears of War 2 is one I will be picking up at 12AM. :) Who else is excited for GOW2 and will be online after picking it up at 12AM?
Will you first play the story mode? Or will you go right into online multi-player? I'd rather go straight to online multi-player but it sounds like a lot of people I know will do the story mode first. If that's the case, anyone want to play story mode co-op with me?
I'll probably pick it up. I had the original gears before i sold my 360 and its games.. ive recently rebought a 360 and miss that game.. i figured id just wait till 2 comes out rather than get it again. I will probably play story mode first and beat it in the first half hour considering the first one was so insanely short.

Actually, I'm going to soak mine in gravy before jumping into story mode.
If I'm tired of Resistance 2 by the time it comes out, I'll probably pick it up. I don't understand people who jump into multiplayer before story mode. It has never made sense to me.
Because multiplayer is super fun. Would you rather sit at home and watch a movie by yourself, or go out to the movies with a bunch of friends? XBL is much more social and fun than playing a game by your lonely self.
I'm keen on getting fable 2 just as soon as my xbox comes back from the redring disease medical centre. Think iv played this game, you get to run round shooting aliens? neway enjoy =)
As much as it might be hard to resist, it would probably be best to play solo for a few days, since so many ppl will be trying to get online, lag will probably be intense for the first couple days (depending on your connection of course)

I might get gears 2 but its exactly the same as the first i t has a few more enemies vehicles and weapons but nothing special

I won't get it because i still play PS2 YEAH!!! but i suppose i'd do a a bit of the story mode then hop online.
