Ha! that little guy is pissed! ive never personally seen an aggressive snake. the snakes around here and at the camp grounds around here all just hang out and run away if you get to close, then they come back and do snake stuff... infarct, ive done exactly what you are seen doing and the snake just went around my hand and tried to get away.
it must have some issues...

you must be crazy brave, or both because i would never go anywhere NEAR a snake! this could be a biased opinion however since i probably have never seen one outside of my local zoo(Honolulu Zoo). you do seem to run into all sorts of animals thugh Wade-san. maybe you're an animal person?

that was not the smartest thing you could've done... what if he/she/it bit your finger? how would you type and assist schmucks that need your help?
I wouldn't be too worried about it biting me. It wouldn't do much, may not even draw blood.
A big water snake on the other hand, they can tear you up. I got bit my a small one and I was bleeding, got me between the thumb and index finger, after being shot by a .22 with some bird shot. :) That was probably close to 20 years ago.

True, I'm like that when I go camping. It's pretty cool to see wild animalsyet a little bit frightening at the same time because they might have rabies or eat your face off. Hopefully you don't end up like the Crocodile Hunter. Who's going to defend NewGrounds from evil? Besides myself. (hears woman trapped in burning building) That's my cue see you Wade. Maybe I'm just very observent and have good vision? :) I guess when you know what to look for you end up finding stuff like that. Look at those nature shows where the guy is talking, then suddenly dashes off and grabs a snake out of a tree or bush 20 feet from where he was standing.

Yes, that is totally an OH SNAP. You just found this in a state park? wow. Just on the path just laying there? that is really cool. I'm in illinois, so I don't have alot of exciting shit(except for maybe something cool at Millenium Park). Is it any more interesting where you are? Summer is VERY slow...*sigh*
oh, BTW: you look like a teacher in my school.
The snake was laying on some rocks, sticks, etc, on the side of the path. I was keeping my eye out for critters because the kids were with me and they like to check out stuff like that.
